Easter Madness Looks Different This Year

It is with heavy hearts that we are not able to hold the Easter Madness 2020 Camp this year.

The Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod continues to follow the advice provided by the Australian Government and Queensland Health in this unprecedented time.

Please continue to refer directly to these sites for the most current public health information regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). A list of communication that has previously been distributed to our stakeholders is available on the Synod coronavirus update website. To this end, all Queensland Synod-hosted events have been cancelled, which of course includes Easter Madness 2020: ☹

But wait …

The enthusiastic, passionate and amazing planning team are working very hard to come up with the next best thing! So please stay tuned as we’re hoping to present an Easter Madness in a virtual format. Further updates will be released on the Queensland Synod’s Facebook page and in Uniting News so be sure to like us on Facebook and subscribe to Uniting News.

Caring for our staff and the community in which we serve is of the utmost importance to us; therefore it is critically important that we all commit to adhering to Government policy and business protocols so that we play our part in containing the continued spread of COVID-19.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and we ask that you join us in prayer for those in our country and the world who are currently suffering from the virus and for those who are mourning the loss of loved ones.
