When

Easter Madness 2021 will be held on the weekend after Easter from Friday 9 to Monday  12 April 2021. Registrations/sign in will open at around 10am on Friday and we will head home after lunch on Monday.

Where

Easter Madness 2020 will take place at Reflections, Camp Cooby, 239 Love Day Road, Geham. You can find out more on the Reflections website.

Who can come

Easter Madness is for high school-aged students (grade 7–12). It’s a multi-day experience for young people to grow in their faith, learn more about Jesus and make new friendships with people from all over Queensland.

Youth group leaders (or other leaders) from congregations are encouraged to come along and participate with the people attending from their church.

What do youth leaders need to know?

Leaders help to facilitate conversations between their small groups at bible studies and accompany attendees during the day helping them freely explore what it means to be a follower of Christ through fun, engaging activities!

It’s a great opportunity for youth leaders to network, make connections and talk through matters they may be currently experiencing in their congregations.

All adult leaders attending Easter Madness 2021 will need to have a valid Blue Card.

There will be a training session for leaders a few weeks prior to the camp to familiarise everyone with the program and share any important information.

How do I get there

We realise that Toowoomba is a bit further out than most Easter Madness’ so we will be organising a two buses to transport campers to and from Easter Madness. More information to follow about where to get the buses from.

Or if buses are not an option perhaps you might like to carpool with people from your church or other friends. Reflections is located at 239 Love Day Road, Geham (get directions).

What is the cost
Attendee – Standard Registration $250.00

Youth Leaders – Standard Registration $250.00

Registration includes all food, accommodation and activities.

If you have families with 2 or more kids who would love to come but registrations a bit steep, please contact Fa to see how we can ease that stress. Even if you have 10kids from your youth group or church who would like to come, let’s talk it out and see how we can make this possible.

Can I access the Easter Madness Appeal sponsorship?

Through the Easter Madness Donations Appeal we will be raising money to support young people from all over Queensland who are struggling financially especially during COVID19. We want young people from all over the state to attend, so if you are strugglin financially we would love to talk to you. People wanting to access Easter Madness Donations Sponsorship will need to send an email to eastermadness@mrpres.org.au with your registration already submitted.

Do I need to bring extra money?

Young adults who are leaders may be given a chance to head off site during the weekend so they might like to bring some money.

Are tickets refundable?
