Easter Madness 2019 will be held on the weekend before Easter from Friday 12 to Monday 15 April 2019. Registrations/sign in will open at around 4 pm on Friday and we will head home after lunch on Monday.
Easter Madness 2019 will take place at the Alex Park Conference Centre located at Alexandra Headlands. You can find out more on the Alex Park website.
Who can come
Easter Madness 2019 is for high school-aged students (grade 7–12). It’s a multi-day experience for the young people to grow in their faith, learn more about Jesus and make new friendships with people from all over Queensland.
Youth group leaders (or other leaders) from congregations are encouraged to come along and participate with the people attending from their church.
What do youth leaders need to know?
Leaders help to facilitate conversations between their small groups at bible studies and accompany attendees during the day helping them freely explore what it means to be a follower of Christ through fun, engaging activities!
It’s a great opportunity for youth leaders to network, make connections and talk through matters they may be currently experiencing in their congregations.
All adult leaders attending the Easter Madness 2019 will need to have a valid Blue Card.
There will be a training session for leaders a few weeks prior to the camp to familiarise everyone with the program and any share important information.
How do I get there
Campers or their parents are responsible for transport to and from camp. You might like to carpool with people from your church or other friends. Alexandra Park is located at 13 Mari Street, Alexandra Headland (get directions).

Can I access the Easter Madness Appeal sponsorship?
Through the Easter Madness Appeal we will be raising money to support young people from rural and remote areas of Queensland. We want young people from all over the state to attend, so if you live in a rural and remote area we would love to talk to you. People wanting to access Easter Madness Appeal sponsorship will need to have their registration in by the end of February 2019.
Do I need to bring extra money?
Young adults may be given a chance to head off site during the weekend so they might like to bring some money to enjoy the local cafes and shops on the Sunshine Coast.
Are tickets refundable?
No, tickets cannot be refunded as of 23/03/19. However, tickets can be transferred if needed with no extra charge. To arrange this email email@example.com and we will sort you out!
